After calcium hydroxyapatite injections, recovery is usually rapid. In the first hours or days, slight redness, swelling, sensitivity or bruising may occur in the injection area. This is a normal tissue reaction after injections, which gradually subsides.
Part of the effect may be noticeable immediately after the procedure, but the main biostimulating result develops gradually. Over the following weeks, the production of your own collagen is activated, the skin becomes denser and more elastic, and the result is more pronounced.
To ensure proper recovery, in the first days after the procedure it is recommended to:
- avoid saunas, baths, hot baths and strong heat;
- limit intense physical exertion;
- avoid active sun and solarium;
- do not massage the injection area without a doctor's recommendation;
- do not perform aggressive cosmetic procedures in the correction area;
- do not drink alcohol during the first 24 hours.
In most cases, you can return to your usual rhythm of life the day after the procedure.
